1915-07-02 (142lbs) Harry Stone nd-w pts 10 Johnny Kid Alberts, Brown’s Gym, Queens, NYC, New York, USA. Defending his 142lbs title claim, Stone easily outscored Alberts in what was an uninteresting contest with neither man exerting himself. It was only in the last two rounds that Stone came to life in an effort to impress the fans, landing effectively from both hands as he cut loose.
