1915-12-06 (118lbs) Kid Williams drew 20 Frankie Burns, Louisiana Auditorium, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Referee: Ed Smith. Made at 118lbs, Burns (118) made the running in the first half of the fight before tiring and allowing Williams (117¾) to become the aggressor, especially when working the body. After the 13th round Williams appeared to have made up the leeway, and apart from a few drawn sessions it was his fight from there on in.
