1916-02-28 (145lbs) Kid Graves nd-l pts 12 Al Doty, East Market Street Rink, Akron, Ohio, USA. Still claiming the 145lbs title despite losing to Eddie Moha, Graves, floored in the third, eighth and 11th rounds, lost this one by a mile according to the Massillon Evening Independent. The paper stated that Graves seemed powerless to stop long, sweeping swings from both hands and that Doty won six rounds while the remaining six were even.
