11 April (118lbs) Kid Williams nd-w pts 10 Battling Lahn, Monumental Theatre, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Made at 118lbs, Williams had very much the better of it before Lahn was saved by the bell at the end of the sixth, having been knocked down twice in that round. Despite that, the challenger battled on gamely to the end, but was a chopping block for much of the time.
