15 May (118lbs) Kid Williams nd-w pts 10 Billy Bevan, Coliseum AC, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA. Made at 118lbs, Bevan held his own for six rounds before a terrific right swing cut him over the left eye in the seventh. From thereon it was all one way, but try as he might Williams was unable to stop his challenger.
