1918-03-06 (145lbs) Ted Kid Lewis nd-drew 10 Jack Britton, The Armory Auditorium, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Crossing gloves with Britton for the 14th time and involving the title at 145lbs, Lewis boxed cautiously from the start as the former champion looked for a kayo. While Lewis used his speed to avoid trouble, bearing in mind that the only way he could lose the championship would be if he lost summarily, the bout turned into a stalemate.
