1930-01-18 Frankie Genaro w rtd 12 (15) Yvon Trevidic, Winter Velodrome, Paris, France - NBA/IBU. Referee: R. Guttmann. It was soon clear that the champion was too experienced for the young Frenchman, who gave his man all the trouble going but was countered effectively from both hands. Trevidic (111) had his best round in the ninth when driving Genaro (110) before him, but repeated right hooks opened a cut over his left eye in the tenth round and further pressure saw his eye almost closing in the 11th with blood coming from his nose and mouth. In the 12th Trevidic was badly shaken by a series of left hooks and, after floundering around, he stumbled back to his corner at the bell to be retired by his seconds.
