1931-01-26 Tony Canzoneri nd-w pts 10 Johnny Farr, The Coliseum, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - WORLD. Referee: Jack Dempsey. Billed as a no-decision title fight, Canzoneri (132) got off to a fair start, winning the first four rounds before Farr (132¼), who proved to have a good defence, came back to rock the champion with hard overarm rights and left hooks to the head. According to press reports, Canzoneri appeared to have won five rounds with three even.
