1933-02-28 [[Freddie Miller]] w pts 10 [[Baby Arizmendi]], Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, USA - NBA. Referee: Harry Lee. Although Arizmendi (125¼) forced the fight, by not taking advantage of his natural strength he played right into the champion’s hands and was kept off balance by excellent right jabs and left crosses for much of the time. According to the referee, Miller (125) won seven rounds with one even, sometimes landing six or seven punches without return. He also showed a good left hook, one of which cut Arizmendi’s left eye in the sixth. Always looking to get his punches off, Arizmendi hustled and bustled and landed well to the body on occasion, but he also missed a lot as Miller either let them go or ducked under them.
