1935-09-19 [[Babe Risko]] w pts 15 [[Teddy Yarosz]], Forbes Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NY/NBA. Referee: Red Robinson. Unfortunately for Yarosz (158½) the trouble he had previously suffered with his right knee resurfaced as early as the first round of his defence against Risko (158¼) and from there onwards he was up against it. Sent to the floor in the fourth from a right to the body, Yarosz got up without taking a count, but from that moment he was forced to drag his right leg along and it was no surprise when he was dropped again in the sixth. Rather than quit Yarosz fought on with the crowd right behind him and when Risko dropped in a heavy right followed by an overarm left he took a ‘nine’ count. After that with his leg bandaged up and added to as the fight progressed he came more into it, but without proper balance he could not take advantage of any openings and slumped to a unanimous points defeat. The press scorecard showed Yarosz winning just one round, the first, and drawing the eighth.
