10 October Rush Dalma w pts 12 David Kui Kong Young, Civic Auditorium, Honolulu, Hawaii - TBC. The victim of several debatable decisions at the hands of Young (118), Dalma (116½) was finally rewarded for his perseverance when outboxing and outpunching his rival to take over the title. With both boys travelling at a fast pace it was certainly interesting, but despite Young’s quality it was clear that the Filipino had his number and was well worth the unanimous verdict. Dalma was credited with winning six rounds and Young three, while three were seen to be even. There were no knockdowns.
