1961-04-24 Harold Johnson w rsc 2 (15) Von Clay, The Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NBA. Referee: David Beloff. Making his first defence, Johnson (174) did not waste much time in going after Clay (175) and soon had the latter in trouble when a right to the head floored him and had him face down with his chin on the bottom strand at the bell. Picking up where he left off, Johnson stormed into Clay in the second and after being dropped three times the challenger was stopped on the 2.23 mark under the three knockdowns in a round ruling in Pennsylvania. It took Clay almost five minutes before he was able to get up unattended.
