Making a quick start, Chionoi (111) soon had the challenger’s number before knocking him out at 2.35 of the third round following a straight right to the jaw. It had been thought that Keosuriya (111) would survive into the middle rounds at least but it was not to be. Prior to the fight it was reported that whoever won was contracted to meet Walter McGowan in September.
