1973-01-20 Romeo Anaya w co 3 (15) Enrique Pinder, New City Gym, Panama City, Panama - WBA. Referee: Roberto Lopez. Attacking right from the first gong, Pinder (117½) had seemed to be well on his way to victory over Anaya (118) when he was nailed by a terrific left hook from the challenger in the third round and counted out on the 2.00 mark. In what was a terrific upset, it was hardly surprising that the 16,000 strong crowd were stunned into silence.
