1974-07-27 [[Antonio Cervantes]] w co 2 (15) [[Victor Ortiz]], Indian Bullring, Cartagena, Colombia - WBA. Referee: Ray Solis. Making his seventh defence, Cervantes (139) walked straight into Ortiz (140), firing in solid blows from both hands, and within a minute had dropped the latter for the mandatory ‘eight’ count. With Ortiz all at sea it was just a matter of time and at 1.35 of the second he was counted out after taking a tremendous left hook to the jaw.
