Attacking furiously from the opening bell, Duran (134¾) almost immediately dropped Takayama (133¾) with a solid left to the jaw. After getting back on his feet and being knocked down twice more, the dazed Japanese challenger was rescued by the referee who stopped the fight on the 1.40 mark.
