1975-03-01 [[Bobby Chacon]] w rsc 2 (15) [[Jesus Estrada]], Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, USA - WBC. Referee: John Thomas. Despite having some difficulty in making the weight, Chacon (126) was his normal self as he ripped into his challenger from the opening bell and although Estrada (125½) fought back strongly the signs were already there that this one was not going to last much longer. Into the second round, Chacon picked up where he left off, ripping in punches to head and body as he drove Estrada before him. Finally, a vicious body assault had Estrada in big trouble and on the canvas. Though he made it up, 20 seconds later after he was left hanging on the bottom rope the referee stopped the contest, the finish being timed at 2.38.
