Never given a chance, the challenger was under seige from the start as a totally dominant Arguello (126) ripped in punches from head to body to take an early ascendacy. With Arguello immediately picking it up in the second, Riasco (126) was quickly taken apart and after being floored he was stumbling around the ring with his arms down when he was rescued by the referee on the 2.26 mark.
