1976-10-29 Saensak Muangsurin w rsc 2 (15) Miguel Velazquez, Maristas School Sports Pavilion, Segovia, Spain - WBC. Referee: Dick Young. After an opening round which saw Velazquez (139) feel his way into the fight, jabbing and moving, the southpaw challenger raced out for the second session full of intent. Throwing heavy-handed shots that drove Velazquez to the ropes, Muangsurin (139) then shortened his blows, switching from head to body to drop the champion four times in all before the referee stopped the unequal contest following the final knockdown. Ultimately, the power of Muangsurin was too much for Velazquez to handle.
