Getting off to a fine start, Gushiken (107) began to build up a good lead against a cautious opponent, slowing his man down with body blows. In the fourth round, picking up the pace the champion belted Mahachai (107) solidly with a one-two to the jaw, followed by another heavy right and the Thai dropped to the floor to be counted out on the 2.17 mark.
