1978-04-15 Eusebio Pedroza w rsc 13 (15) [[Cecilio Lastra]], New City Gym, Panama City, Panama - WBA. Referee: Larry Rozadilla. Dropped by a right in the third round, the outreached Lastra (126) got up, his right eye badly swollen, only to walk into more punches from Pedroza (126) as his obscured vision made it difficult for him to see properly. Dominating the southpaw champion throughout, Pedroza had far too much for Lastra and although the latter troubled him in the 11th with a solid left-hand counter he punished him badly in the 13th, putting him down twice and forcing the referee to stop the fight with 35 seconds of the round remaining.
