Having risen from a knockdown in the third round, Flores (107¾) took the fight to Gushiken (107½) and from then on it was relatively even, many thinking the challenger had won at the final bell. Both men finished facially damaged and it was a close call for Gushiken, who was making his 13th successful defence.
