Jolted from the title in his first defence, Flores (105½) was outspeeded by Kim (107¼) right up until the tenth round. Things changed at that point when Kim appeared tired and ready to fall apart, but he suddenly turned loose in the 13th, battering the champion until he was rescued by the referee on the 1.51 mark.
