In what was a savage action-packed fight with neither man giving an inch, the champion was smashed to the canvas in the fifth before getting up after the ‘eight’ count had been completed and immediately taking the fight to Choi (130). This, despite being in a dazed state. With the gruelling pace taking its toll, after Choi was dropped in the tenth from a burst of punches to the head he was saved by the bell before being set upon in the 11th.
