1982-10-10 Katsuo Tokashiki w pts 15 Sung-Nam Kim, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan - WBA. Referee: Nate Morgan. Scorecards: 146-140, 147-141, 147-143. This was a contest of swaying fortunes, with Tokashiki (108), the defending champion, often being drawn into a tear-up when Kim (107¾) gained the ascendancy. With the majority thinking that the title was about to change hands, Tokashiki, by now missing two teeth, outslugged his tiring rival over the last quarter to just about warrant the verdict.
