1982-11-28 Rafael Orono w rsc 6 (15) Chul-Ho Kim, Changchung Gym, Seoul, South Korea - WBC. Referee: Harry Gibbs. Challenging for his old title, Orono (114) showed great speed and power to totally demolish Kim (114½), his former conqueror. Kim was floored four times in the fifth and was battered by solid combinations to head and body before going down and being rescued by the referee after 38 seconds of round six. Following this, it was decided upon by the WBC that as from 1 January 1983 all world title bouts held under their auspices would be contested over 12 rounds.
