1983-03-26 Jung-Koo Chang w rsc 3 (12) Hilario Zapata, Chungmu Gym, Taejon, South Korea - WBC. Referee: Rudy Ortega. Unprepared mentally and physically, Zapata (108), who had six attempts before making the weight, lost his title when the switch-hitting Chang (107½) battered him to defeat at 2.46 of the third round. The end for Zapata came following a standing count when he was in no position to defend himself and was rescued by the referee, having been subjected to a severe body attack.
