1983-04-10 [[Katsuo Tokashiki]] drew 15 [[Lupe Madera]], Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan - WBA. Referee: Larry Rozadilla. Scorecards: 145-143, 144-144, 144-145. In a return match, Tokashiki (108) once again retained his title in another close call against the aggressive Madera (108). Yet again heads came together and the challenger got the worst of it, with blood continuously coming from a forehead wound. The decision could have gone either way, but neither man really deserved to lose.
