1983-09-27 Frank Cedeno w rsc 6 (12) Charlie Magri, The Arena, Wembley, London, England - WBC. Referee: Angelo Poletti. Although starting well, Magri (111¼) found that he could not subdue Cedeno (110½), who came back after a difficult start to dominate the sixth and floor the champion three times with swinging punches that almost came up from the floor. Magri, having suffered damage to his right hand, was rescued by the referee at 2.33 of the round, leaving his tough southpaw opponent to be crowned WBC champion in his 40th contest.
