Making a good start, Chang (107½), under some pressure himself, floored Tokashiki (107¾) with a left hook to the temple. Tokashiki, who had never been decked before, got back into the fight and pressed the champion until he was forced to the ropes in the ninth on rubbery legs and rescued by the referee on the 1.47 mark.
