1984-09-01 Harry Arroyo w rsc 8 (15) Charlie White Lightning Brown, The Fieldhouse, Youngstown, Ohio, USA - IBF. Referee: Larry Hazzard. After five rounds it looked as though there might be a new champion as Brown (135) had forced the action up to that point with two-handed assaults making it difficult for Arroyo (135) to get into the fight. Having worked Brown out by the sixth, Arroyo began to counter heavily through to the seventh before coming out strongly in the eighth to hurt the former with a solid right and drive him to the ropes where he was rescued by the referee after just 41 seconds when not fighting back.
