Following the fight it was learnt that it was Flores (112) who had faced Kwon (112), not Alberto Castro as the IBF had been led to believe. Following that, the promoter was sentenced to a year in prison while Flores’ manager received ten months for fraud. The finish was timed at 2.56 of the 12th round after the challenger had been on the receiving end in most of them.
