1984-11-21 [[Kaosai Galaxy]] w co 6 (15) [[Eusebio Espinal]], Rajadamnern Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Stan Christodoulou. Contested for the vacant title after Jiro Watanabe was stripped, in the early rounds Galaxy (114½), a hard-punching southpaw, was unable to catch up with Espinal (114), who used a sharp left jab and swift one-twos to move in and out again before he could be caught. However, it all changed once the Thai began to work the body. Having dropped Espinal heavily from a punch to the solar plexus at the end of the fifth, Galaxy carried on where he left off, despite bleeding badly from a cut on the left eye, to put his man down to be counted out at 2.16 of the sixth, a left hook to the head being the final blow.
