1984-12-01 Piet Crous w pts 15 Ossie Ocasio, Super Bowl, Sun City, South Africa - WBA. Referee: Carlos Berrocal. Scorecards: 147-143, 147-140, 144-143. Forced to box on the back foot from the off, the champion resorted to weak left jabs and an occasional right counter in an effort to hold the powerful Crous(180) at bay. Despite being badly cut over the left eye in the eighth, Crous continued to be one step ahead of Ocasio (187¾), who held on more and more as the fight progressed. The last three sessions saw Crous make sure of the win as Ocasio tired and was pushed around the ring without sending much back in reply.
