1985-01-12 [[Harry Arroyo]] w rsc 11 (15) [[Terrence Alli]], Bally’s Park Place Hotel, Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA - IBF. Referee: Tony Perez. After making a bad start and being knocked down by a right to the jaw, the champion came back well in what turned into a tense affair as first one man then the other made the running. While Alli (134) forced the fight with solid lefts and rights, Arroyo (134) was always looking to land left hooks to the body and it appeared to be even coming into the 11th. Without a hint of what was coming, Arroyo suddenly landed a right over the top that caught Alli flush on the jaw and down he went. Although Alli beat the count, after Arroyo followed up his advantage and it was noticeable that the former was not fighting back the referee called it off on the 1.16 mark.
