1985-04-26 [[Lester Ellis]] w co 13 (15) [[Rod Sequenan]], Festival Hall, Melbourne, Australia - IBF. Referee: Lucien Joubert. Making his first defence, Ellis (129) had too much of everything for the game Sequenan (129) and steadily outboxed the Filipino southpaw, who remained dangerous until the later stages of the fight when a bad cut under the left eye worsened. Into the 13th and firmly in control, Ellis opened up and a series of blows dropped Sequenan for the full count, which was completed seven seconds after the round had ended.
