1985-07-14 Milton McCrory w rsc 3 (12) Carlos Trujillo, Louis 11 Stadium, Monte Carlo, Monaco - WBC. Referee: Rudy Ortega. Outclassing his challenger from the start, McCrory (147) was quickly into action with sharp and accurate punches finding their mark and near the end of the opening round he had his man down on one knee from a right to the head. Going southpaw in trying to confuse McCrory brought some time for Trujillo (146½), who mainly threw swings and hooks, but the end was inevitable. Firing in punches through the middle in the third, McCrory saw his chance and after a right sent Trujillo back on his heels and was followed by lefts and rights, another right sent him to the floor. Although the count had started the referee waived it off on the 1.59 mark to make sure that Trujillo received treatment.
