1985-07-27 Dwight Muhammad Qawi w co 11 (15) Piet Crous, Super Bowl, Sun City, South Africa - WBA. Referee: Enzo Montero. With not too much in it after eight rounds the fight came to life when Qawi (189¼) hammered the champion all over the ring in the ninth. Subsequently, it was all downhill for Crous (182), who was battered from pillar to post before being dropped by a barrage of blows in the 11th and barely beat the count. There was to be no let-up, and as soon as Crous was allowed back into action he was sent crashing by a left-right combination and counted out at 1.47 of the session.
