1986-04-27 Bi-Won Chung w pts 15 Jong-Kwan Chung, Kudok Gym, Pusan, South Korea - IBF. Referee: Steve Smoger. Scorecards: 144-142, 145-143, 145-145. There was never much in this, with both men often cancelling each other out, and it was no surprise that one of the judges had them dead level at the final bell. The result ultimately hinged on the last two rounds, all three judges having Bi-Won Chung (111¾) winning them by superior work rate and accuracy. Making his first defence, Jong-Kwan Chung (112) lost his title after holding it for little more than four months.
