Although Yuh (107) knocked the nervous challenger down in the first and almost got him over again in the next round, Kiyuna (106¾) came back to upset the champion’s rhythm for several sessions, scoring points at the same time, before Yuh came on strong from the eighth onwards. Belted to the floor in the 12th from a solid left hook and having got up, Kiyuna was immediately floored again, whereupon the referee called it off at the 1.53 mark.
