1986-09-06 Bobby Czyz w rsc 5 (15) Slobodan Kacar, Hilton Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - IBF. Referee: Joey Curtis. Despite having a good reach advantage, the champion failed to make it pay off and was outworked during the first three rounds before coming back hard in the fourth to temporarily take the play away from Czyz (172¾). Coming back strongly in the fifth, Czyz hurt Kacar (175) with lefts and rights to the jaw and the latter lost his balance and went to the floor. Ruled a slip, Kacar was quickly under pressure as Czyz smashed in right after right and after reeling against the ropes and not hitting back the fight was stopped in the latter’s favour at 1.10 of the session.
