1987-03-28 [[Ricky Parkey]] w rsc 12 (15) [[Chisanda Mutti]], Sports Palace, Camaiore, Italy - IBF. Referee: Vincent Rainone. Proving to be a tough opponent, the challenger made Parkey (189½) fight every inch of the way, scoring well with left hooks to the body and also showing up well with two-fisted attacks. Although Parkey took many of the blows on his arms and gloves he was occasionally forced back as Mutti (187¼) took the fight to him. Parkey had looked dangerous throughout with wide left hooks and overarm rights regularly hitting the target and a big left finally had Mutti over in the 12th. Back in action after the ‘eight’ count, Mutti was quickly in trouble as Parkey opened up and was rescued by the referee on the 54 second mark when not fighting back.
