1987-10-12 Kaosai Galaxy w co 3 (15) Byong-Kwan Chung, Rajadamnern Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Ken Morita. Nervous of the champion’s power, Chung (114½), the OPBF titleholder, was put down three times from punches to head and body, once in the second round and twice in the third, before he was counted out with just two seconds remaining of the third. It had been easy work for Galaxy (115), who registered his sixth straight defence by the short route. At the WBA convention that month, it was decided by the membership that their next title fight in the weight class would be contested over 12 rounds.
