1988-01-16 Rolando Bohol w pts 15 Chang-Ho Choi, Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Manila, Philippines - IBF. Referee: Abraham Pacheco. Scorecards: 145-142, 145-141, 143-147. As game as a pebble, Bohol (111½), giving away three inches in height, stuck to his guns to eventually outbox the hard-punching Choi (111½) despite the concerns of a swollen eye and badly cut forehead. At the two-thirds stage it had developed into a war, but the champion was unable to take advantage as the elusive Filipino hit and ran.
