1988-01-26 [[Khaosai Galaxy]] w pts 12 [[Kongtoranee Payakaroon]], Lumpinee Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Ken Morita. Scorecards: 116-114, 116-113, 118-110. Having terrible problems in making the weight, Galaxy (115) was knocked down early on, but despite not being at his best he still had too much for Payakaroon (114½) and pressed the challenger throughout, being just too strong and aggressive for him. Payakaroon showed up well, but was unable to assert himself to any great degree.
