1988-02-07 Myung-Woo Yuh w pts 12 Willy Salazar, Munhwa Gym, Seoul, South Korea - WBA. Referee: Eddie Eckert. Scorecards: 116-113, 117-112, 118-110. Although regarded as a dangerous opponent, right from the bell Salazar (107) boxed off the back foot, countering and using his height and reach advantage to avert danger, while Yuh (107¾) stalked monotonously. By the tenth, however, the champion had made up some leeway in working the body, before opening up a cut over Salazar’s left eye in the 11th and storming home to take the decision.
