Sanabria (122) and Fuentes (122) came together to contest the vacant title after [[Seung-Hoon Lee]] moved up a weight class, and it was the former who came out on top after displaying a good jab and one-two combinations to pound his rival into submission. Fuentes, cut over the left eye by a left hook and dropped in the fifth, failed to answer the bell for the sixth and the contest was over.
