1988-11-07 Gilberto Roman w pts 12 Bebis Rojas, Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - WBC. Referee: Carlos Padilla. Scorecards: 119-108, 117-111, 117-113. Similar to their previous encounter, in as much both men kept banging heads, Roman (115) again picked up damage to his left eye but did not let it worry him too much, being more concerned on gaining the points with the left jab working overtime. While the awkward Rojas (114) was the taller of the two he was unable to make it pay and slumped to another defeat.
