1989-02-12 Myung-Woo Yuh w rsc 10 Katsumi Komiyama, Chungbok Gym, Chungju, South Korea - WBA. Referee: Pinji Prayadsub. After being under pressure initially, Yuh (107¾) took command in the third with combination punches paving the way, and in the sixth despite Komiyama (106¾) landing some telling blows to his face the champion responded with heavy body shots. In the seventh and eighth sessions Komiyama was badly wobbled, and after being showered by hooks and uppercuts to the body in the ninth he collapsed in a pile before being saved by the bell. He was then rescued by the referee at 1.18 of the tenth when under intense pressure.
