9 July Kaokor Galaxy w pts 12 Sung-Il Moon, Rajadamnern Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Masakazu Uchida. Scorecards: 120-109, 120-109, 119-112. Pounding out a solid points win to regain the title, Galaxy (118) made Moon look like a novice at times, his southpaw power, speed and ringcraft proving too much for the champion to handle. Picked off and rocked by heavy lefts and rights to the head, somehow Moon (116¾) stayed upright in the ninth round, but in the 11th he was dropped twice before somehow making it to the final bell.
